Irish Repertory Theatre has announced full casting for Eugene O'Neill's THE EMPEROR JONES. Directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (Shining City), and starring Obi Abili (Ivo van Hove's Antigone at BAM), THE EMPEROR JONES begins performances on March 1, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, opens on March 12, and runs through April 23, 2017.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Deaf West Theatre (DWT), the performing arts organizations behind the Tony Award-nominated and Ovation Award-winning revival of Spring Awakening, reunite to bring multiple Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo to life in an innovative and new production. Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo begins previews on March 7 and will open in the Lovelace Studio Theater at The Wallis on Friday, March 10. It will run through March 26. This production is made possible by the generous support of Meeghan and Michael Nemeroff.

The Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra (HSO) will welcome acclaimed violinist and conductor Joseph Swensen on February 18 and 19 in a dazzling program featuring masterworks by Schubert and Mozart. The concert titled "Schubert 'The Great'" has been updated to reflect a change in program; Maestro Swensen, who will conduct from the violin spotlight, will replace Maestro Rune Bergmann, who has withdrawn due to an illness in the family.
