The Stratford Festival’s new Tom Patterson Theatre will open its doors to its second production on Tuesday, June 14, as director Scott Wentworth’s production of All’s Well That Ends Well begins performances.

The classic Broadway musical Guys & Dolls is set to be revived in London next year in an immersive production from Tony and Olivier Award-winning director, Nicholas Hytner.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater has announced that Jaye Ladymore has joined the company for the world premiere production of It Came From Outer Space, a new musical comedy based on the ‘50s cult classic sci-fi film from Universal Pictures.

In celebration of her soon to be released album Ann Kittredge:reIMAGINE(Jazzheads, Inc./King Kozmo Music), a specially curated collection of songs uniquely re-imagined, Ms. Kittredge, will appear at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street – between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Thursday, May 26th at 7pm.

The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented to the team of Isabella Dawis & Tidtaya Sinutoke by Heidi Blickenstaff and Julia Murney on Monday May 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony at Bond 45. T

The Stratford Festival held its annual general meeting today, reflecting on a season of accomplishments in the midst of the global pandemic, and reporting a surplus of $553,058, thanks to strong support from donors and government.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing for a heartwarming romantic comedy this fall when its production of the Broadway classic The Pajama Game takes to the stage.  Opening Friday, September 10th, the production was rescheduled from earlier this season. 

The Ontario government has issued its guidance for attendance at outdoor performing arts events, paving the way for the opening of the Stratford Festival’s 2021 season. According to these guidelines, the Stratford Festival will be able to accommodate 100 people (or 25% capacity) in each of its new outdoor canopies.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company announced today that applications for the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters are now available. Applications will be accepted from June 1 - June 30, 2021. The winner will be selected in November of 2021.

Tom Stoppard's Leopoldstadt, directed by Patrick Marber and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, will return to Wyndham's Theatre for a 12-week run from 7 August – 30 October 2021.

Herman is known for his work on Broadway classics such as Hello, Dolly!, Mame, La Cage Aux Folles, Dear World, Mack & Mabel, The Grand Tour, Milk & Honey and many more. He has been nominated for five Tony Awards, and won twice, for Hello, Dolly! and La Cage Aux Folles. He received a Lifetime Achievement Tony Award in 2009, and a Kennedy Center Honors in 2010.
