The Des Moines Community Playhouse is approaching its 100th anniversary, and is starting the celebration early with a special performance to be held each year leading up to the big day. Today and tomorrow, Mar. 4-5, the Playhouse will begin the trip down memory lane with 'Countdown to 100: A Musical Revue of the '60s and '70s.'

911 and The Big Reunion star Lee Brennan will make his musical theatre debut when he joins the cast of Footloose: The Musical, playing the role of Willard from Tuesday 19 April to Saturday 18 June 2016. Lee will join the UK tour for dates in Oxford, Weston Super Mare, Wimbledon, Liverpool, Belfast, Derry, Torquay and Glasgow.

The Auditorium Theatre presents Thodos Dance Chicago on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. with the world premiere of Sono's Journey, choreographed by Founder and Artistic Director Melissa Thodos. This full company work artistically traces Japanese-American Sono Osato's path from her 1934 audition on the Auditorium Theatre stage that launched her dance career with Ballets Russe de Monte-Carlo at age 14, to her position today, at the age of 96, as one of the most inspirational, barrier-breaking artists in American Dance. Sono Osato and her family will be in attendance for this special performance. The New York Philharmonic will present two programs of film music in May 2016: a complete screening of Charlie Chaplin's CITY LIGHTS, May 19, 2016 - with the Orchestra performing Chaplin's score live, conducted by Timothy Brock, who restored the score for live performance - and Disney's FANTASIA, May 20-21, 2016 - in which selections from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 will be screened as the Orchestra performs the music live, led by Assistant Conductor Joshua Gersen, in honor of Fantasia's 75th anniversary.

Steve Punt, Charlie Condou and Philip Franks are set to star as The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show UK Tour 2015/2016.
