Cirque Berserk!

Say what you like but little beats the thrill of live circus. Featuring motorcycles speeding around a Globe Of Death and incredible displays of acrobatics, balancing and knife-throwing plus one of the loveliest clowns in the business, Cirque Berserk returns to London for another run.

London Theatre Week is back! To kick it off, stars of some of the West End’s biggest shows made a rare appearance together at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to celebrate the return of the highly anticipated campaign. Check out the photos here!

With shows already on sale from Ben Hart, Nina Conti, The Showstoppers, NewsRevue and Cirque Berserk, the first official on-sale sees the Pleasance Theatre Trust presenting the comedy big guns.  With both Edinburgh Comedy Awards in their awards cabinet from the last full Fringe, Pleasance’s comedy programme is always unmissable alongside the amazing theatre, circus and family work that Pleasance are known and loved for. 

Pleasance is kicking 2022 off as they mean to go on with ten amazing shows going on sale for their Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme for those keen to start their planning.  The 2022 programme will continue Pleasance's great work with exciting newcomers, game-changing international artists, theatre award-winners, Pleasance stalwarts who delight audiences year on year and those boldly entering the performance landscape.

Cirque Beserk! is a circus with a very good pedigree. Founded by Martin Burton, the original Zippo The Clown, this entertaining and skillful production brings the traditional circus show into the modern age, using talent sourced from around the globe.

Tickets go on sale from 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 30 June) for Kids Week, as the much-loved promotion returns, offering family discounts for top London theatre shows throughout August. The Government has confirmed that they are on track to end lockdown and fully reopen theatres from 19 July.

Britain’s biggest theatre-circus spectacular, Cirque Berserk!, will bring its record-breaking show back to London’s West End, at The Garrick Theatre from 25 August – 11 September 2021.

Pleasance is known for its amazing comedy and this year's programme is like no other.

This season and beyond Nuffield Southampton Theatres will welcome some of the country's leading theatre makers to the stage to present family-friendly productions.

After a record year in 2018 in which the Pleasance artists won two Fringe Firsts, two Herald Angels, one Herald Archangel award and the Holden Street Theatres Award, and Pleasance acts won both Best Newcomer and Best Show at the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards, Pleasance are back with another fantastic programme. Kicking things off the Pleasance Theatre Trust have put five shows on sale for those keen to start their planning early.

CIRQUE BERSERK has just opened their new show INFERNO in their 1700 seater Big Top (the UKs biggest tent) in WINTERWONDERLAND in Hyde Park and stealing the show with their first performance in the circus ring is RAFAEL AND ALAN! The amazing act RAFAEL AND ALAN illustrates all that diversity and power stands for - literally…..this is a unique act bringing audiences to their feet in such a positive way.

This Fringe has seen the Pleasance present its biggest and boldest ever programme with 5,537 performances of 270 productions. With record ticket sales and a trophy cabinet of awards that include Fringe Firsts and both annual Edinburgh Comedy Awards, the eclectic programme celebrated brilliant newcomers alongside acclaimed international artists.

With over 250 shows this year, the Pleasance is a place for experiences and telling amazing stories. 2018 pushes this to the next level with the funny to the sorrowful and the political to the magical. This morning's opening gala saw eight incredible acts come together, marking the amazing variety and quality of this year's programme.

Cirque Berserk! is a circus show especially designed for a theatre setting, now in its fifth year. Showcasing the finest in traditional circus thrills and skills, Cirque Berserk! celebrates the 250th anniversary of the invention of circus by bringing this form of live entertainment up to date.

Breath-taking and death-defying are just two of the ways to describe the incredible Cirque Berserk! which comes to Darlington Hippodrome for a week from Tuesday 17 July.

Zippos Circus brings Cirque Berserk!, the UK's biggest and boldest theatre/circus spectacular, will return to the King's Theatre next week for three days only.

The return of Mr. Swallow and circus-theatre spectacular Cirque Berserk! are amongst the latest shows to be announced in the Pleasance's ever-growing festival programme, along with a host of Fringe favourites on sale from 1st March.

Combining the centuries-old skills and traditions of the touring circus troupe, this is a variety act like no other. Contained within is an assortment of acrobatics, contortion, knife throwing, motorbikes, fire juggling, and so much more, from performers originating from as far afield as Kenya, Cuba, Mongolia, Brazil etc.

Miss Nightingale, will make its West End debut at the prestigious Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino in London's Leicester Square, for a strictly limited seven-week run in their 180-seat theatre, from 21 March - 6 May.

Zippos Circus is delighted to announce that Cirque Berserk!, the UK's biggest and boldest theatre/circus spectacular, will be returning to the West End for a limited two-week engagement at London's Peacock Theatre next February.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this year, Winter Wonderland have announced a brand new attraction. Following sold-out seasons at the Royal Albert Hall and several world tours, The Imperial Ice Stars, will bring their dazzling production of The Nutcracker on Ice to London's Hyde Park. The Nutcracker on Ice will open today 18th November and will run every day until Monday 2nd January 2017.
