Broadway heats up this summer when the company of the record-breaking, Tony Award-winning hit Chicago welcomes Nikka Graff Lanzarone as she makes her debut in the role of merry murderess Velma Kelly. Lanzarone, who last appeared on Broadway in Lincoln Center Theater's production of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, takes over for Amra-Faye Wright.

On Friday, March 25, 2011, the internationally acclaimed revival of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse's Tony Award-winning musical Chicago reached another major milestone when it became the fifth-longest running production in Broadway history, surpassing Oh! Calcutta with a total of 5,960 performances!

As announced on the Friday, February 4 edition of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show,' this spring, Christie Brinkley, one of the world's most successful supermodels, is set to make her highly anticipated Broadway stage debut as merry murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning hit musical Chicago for an eleven-week limited engagement, Monday, April 4 through Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.). Yesterday, January 30, an all-star roster of Chicago alumni celebrated Chicago's 'Facebook Fan Day,' a one-of-a-kind performance marking the first time in Broadway history that a production has given away its entire house to Facebook fans for FREE. Participants included Tony Award winner Chita Rivera (Broadway's original Velma Kelly), Vincent Pastore (Amos Hart), Tony Award winner Lillias White (Matron 'Mama' Morton), Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba (Roxie Hart), Brent Barrett (Billy Flynn), Rob Bartlett (Amos Hart), Amra-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly), Carol Woods (Matron 'Mama' Morton) and many more, plus current Chicago stars Bianca Marroquin (Roxie Hart), Leigh Zimmerman (Velma Kelly), Colman Domingo (Billy Flynn), Robert Creighton (Amos Hart) and LaVon Fisher-Wilson (Matron 'Mama' Morton). Also in attendance were producer Barry Weissler, special guest hosts Julie James and Seth Rudetsky of SiriusXM Radio's 'On Broadway' channel, and over 1,000 of Chicago's top fans, all of whom are attending this very special performance for free.
