Over its 17 year history, the revival production of Chicago has had its share of ups and downs, but if the current tour is any indication, the show's back on an upswing. If you've been unfortunate enough to see a lesser cast of Chicago in the past, you owe it to yourself to catch the current tour.

On Thursday night, the cast of Chicago, including Bianca Marroquin, Amra-Faye Wright, Ryan Silverman, Christopher Fitzgerald, and Roz Ryan celebrated the show's 17th year on Broadway with a special cake-cutting. I spoke with Brent Barrett, who plays CHICAGO's glib Billy Flynn and was last seen in Houston as Captain Hook in the national tour of PETER PAN, about his career and this production of CHICAGO.

Celebrated Russian actress and singer Larisa Dolina is the next international star to make her Broadway debut in the record-breaking, Tony Award-winning musical smash CHICAGO. In the featured role of Matron 'Mama' Morton, Dolina will play a limited eight-performance engagement at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 West 49th Street), tonight, August 13 through Sunday, August 18.
