The Warner Theatre and Two Roads Brewing Co. will present 'The Road to Road Jam: A Battle of Jam Bands,' in the Warner's Studio Theatre on Friday, November 2 from 7-11 pm. Tickets are $15 and you must be 21 to enter the event. Doors will open at 6 pm; a variety of Two Roads beers will be available for purchase. Five area jam bands, Cousin Fungus, Flipper Dave, The HippoCampus, Soul Case and No Mind, will compete for the first place prize. The winning band will play at the Annual Road Jam Music Festival, as well as win a cash prize, tickets for the Jam Fest, swag bags and beer.

Kristin Couture, John DeMita, Judy Louise Johnson, Mike McShane, Rob Nagle, Calvin Picou, Deborah Puette, Jocelyn Towne, Timothy Adam Venable and William L. Warren star in The Little Foxes by Lillian Hellman, opening Oct. 25 at the Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale, where performances will continue through Dec. 10. Low-priced previews begin Oct. 18.

The public is invited to a special screening of the documentary "BUILDING A GREAT LIFE" on Thursday, October 18 at 5:30 PM in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre. The event is free, but registration is required. The one-hour documentary explores how the notion of closing state institutions in favor of community living for persons with intellectual disabilities is both a moral and fiscal debate. Light refreshments will be served and a facilitated discussion will follow the meeting.
