Louis Hobson

Though innocent of the crimes committed by their onstage counterparts, the stars of the new shoot-'em-up Broadway musical, BONNIE AND CLYDE, which opened at the Schoenfeld Theatre on December 1, 2011, are no guiltless parties. For BroadwayWorld's newest photo feature, BUSTED!, we tracked down the stars and got them to confess their biggest guilty pleasure. In this fifth column, The Ted Hinton Edition, we reveal Louis Hobson's secret shortcoming: he can't spell!

Check back tomorrow for the last and final column, the Bonnie Parker/Laura Osnes Edition!

Ted Hinton / Louis Hobson

Ted Hinton is the ultimate good guy. Sweet and mild, he's a Deputy Sheriff with a soft spot for the local waitress, Miss Bonnie Parker. Heartbroken as he watches her fall in love with Clyde Barrow, Ted tries his best to prove himself to Bonnie and show her the life she's missing out on. Ted is ultimately faced with the gut-wrenching decision of protecting Bonnie or helping bring down the criminal couple.

Louis Hobson created the role of the Doctor for the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning Next to Normal (OBC, Cast Album). Last spring he played another doctor opposite Donna Murphy in The People in the Picture (Roundabout) and recently was not a doctor in Kiki Baby at NYMF (dir. Lonny Price). Additional credits include Carrie (MCC), Room with a View, Stunt Girl (MTC, dir. Brian Yorkey), Trails (Village Theatre, WA), Gay Bride of Frankenstein in Concert (Joe's Pub) and Louis Hobson Sucks at Joe's Pub in Concert. A Seattle native, Louis received Footlight Awards there for his work in Hair (Claude, 5th Avenue), West Side Story (Tony, 5th Avenue), Evita (Che, dir. Brian Yorkey) & Stupid Kids (Neechee, dir. Adam Greenfield). Louis is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, a resident teacher at SoLuna Studios on Long Island and currently studies at the Michael Howard Studios.
