Nicholas Hytner's five star award-winning production of One Man, Two Guvnors is currently playing at the Theatre Royal Haymarket after two sell-out record-breaking runs at the National and Adelphi Theatres. Joining Owain Arthur as lovable chancer Francis Henshall are Jodie Prenger and Hannah Spearritt who play Dolly and Pauline respectively. Martin Barrass joins the cast to play Alfie with David Benson as Gareth, Nigel Betts as Harry, Derek Elroy as Lloyd, Gerard Horan as Charlie, Daniel Ings as Alan, Ben Mansfield as Stanley and Gemma Whelan as Rachel.

American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) highly anticipated production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City has been extended an additional two weeks through July 24 due to unprecedented demand. The world premiere musical amassed the largest advance sale in A.C.T.'s history prior to its first preview performance on May 18 and has continued to break sales records heading into this week's opening night gala. Birdsong, the best-selling novel that later became a short-lived stage show, will make its big screen debut soon. Set to star in the film are Tony Award-winner Eddie Redmayne and Clemence Poesy, playing lovers in a secret affair against the backdrop of World War I.

Deutsche Grammophon is proud to release two all-new recordings featuring revered conductor Pierre Boulez (who recently celebrated his 85th birthday and has recorded on DG for 40 years) and the equally acclaimed Cleveland Orchestra in collaboration. In two different programs devoted to Ravel and Mahler respectively, Boulez and the Orchestra reveal their long-standing affinity and complementary styles. The Cleveland Orchestra was the first American orchestra Boulez conducted, and today he is '...still immensely fond of this orchestra because it continues to come very close to my own idea of the way in which a score should be realized in terms of the music and its sonorities.' Both recordings will be available October 5, 2010.
