Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents the most highly awarded show in Broadway history, MEL BROOKS' THE PRODUCERS, the musical, winner of 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

BLUEBARN Theatre will end their season with the campy spoof, Reefer Madness - the Musical, which opens June 18 and runs through July 11 (no show on July 4th). BLUEBARN's Artistic Director, Susan Clement-Toberer directs the hilarious send-up of the original 1936 cult classic, Reefer Madness. The musical comedy showcases costumes by Jenny Poole, scenic design by Martin Scott Marchitto, lighting design by Carol Wisner, musical direction by Mitch Fuller, and choreography by Roxanne Nielsen. Shows run Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 28 and Sunday, July 5 at 6 p.m. There will be no show on July 4. Ticket prices are $25 for adults; and $20 for students, TAG members, seniors 65+, and groups of 10 or more.

Nigel, a brindle-hair Cairn Terrier, will be making his professional stage debut as Toto in the Encores! Summer Stars production of The Wiz, starring Ashanti as Dorothy, June 12 - July 5 at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues).

Bristol Riverside Theatre has announced a change to its final show of the 2008-2009 season and is pleased to present an original production of the Off-Broadway smash, Altar Boyz, from May 12 through May 31. BRT's production brings to Bristol two of the play's creators - Music Director Gary Adler, who co-wrote the music and lyrics, and Director and Tony-nominated Choreographer (and Bristol native) Christopher Gattelli, who handled the original Off-Broadway choreography.

Orlando Jones will play The Wiz, and Tony Award-winning actress LaChanze will play Glinda, the good witch, in the Encores! Summer Stars production of The Wiz, starring Ashanti, June 12 July 5 at New York City Center. Glinda's sister-witches will include Tichina Arnold as Evillene and Dawnn Lewis as Addaperle. Easing down the road with Ashanti's Dorothy will be Joshua Henry as the Tinman, James Monroe Iglehart as the Lion and Christian White as the Scarecrow.

The Joyce Theater is thrilled to open its 2009 summer season with Trey McIntyre Project, a contemporary ballet company founded in 2004 by one of the world's most vibrant choreographers, with a week-long engagement from June 2-7. Transport Group's BEING AUDREY Opens 4/5

The production has delayed its first preview originally planned for tonight, Friday 27th, the show will now begin on Saturday, March 28th to allow the company an extra amount of rehearsal time, stated a Transport Group spokesperson.

Perlman; musical direction, arrangements, and orchestrations by Lanny Meyers; musical staging and choreography by Scott Rink; and directed by Jack Cummings III, beginning Friday, March 27, at 8:00pm at 220 East 4 Street, between Avenues A and B. The opening is set for Sunday, April 5, at 3pm.

Newcomers to the cast include Gavin Creel, Caissie Levy and Sasha Allen, who join the rest of the tribe, who are reprising their roles from Central Park last summer. Jean Doumanian Productions and Barrow Street Theatre(Scott Morfee and Tom Wirtshafter) today announced that they will produce director David Cromer's acclaimed staging of Thornton Wilder's Our Town at Off Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre. Performances will begin on February 17, with anofficial opening night set for Thursday, February 26. The production will require acomplete redesign of the theater space.
