Cirque Dreams triumphantly returns to Chicago with its critically acclaimed holiday stage extravaganza, Cirque Dreams Holidaze, December 17- 21 at the Chicago Theatre (175 North State St.)

Artists Rep will present Noel Coward's elegantly comedic classic, Blithe Spirit, this holiday season. This production is directed by Christopher Liam Moore, an Oregon Shakespeare Festival company member, who directed our 2013 hit comedy Red Herring, and who recently returned from a stint on Broadway with the Tony Award-winning All the Way. Blithe Spirit starts previews tonight, November 25 and runs through December 21.

A Public Interview with Stephen Rea and Sam Shepard will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Sitnik Theatre in the David and Carol Lackland Center, 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown. The event is free and open to the public.

Aaron Posner's Stupid f**king Bird, a 'sort of' adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, makes its Michigan premiere beginning tonight, November 14 at Ferndale's The Ringwald Theatre.

And this October will prove to be no different as the merry pranksters open their latest production - a musical, no less - ARE YOU THERE GOD? IT'S ME, CARRIE. Written by Lisa Melinn and Dyan Bailey, ARE YOU THERE GOD? IT'S ME, CARRIE combines the best elements of a Judy Blume novel with the creepiness of Stephen King.

The Old Globe invites your participation and coverage as it begins presenting shows through an exciting new producing platform, Globe for All. This free-of-charge tour of a professional production of Shakespeare will allow the theatre to serve more communities throughout San Diego by collaborating with a diverse range of local organizations. Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein directs the first production, Shakespeare's fascinating romance All's Well That Ends Well. Kansas City Repertory Theatre will open its 50th anniversary celebration with the Kansas City premiere of David Cromer's Our Town, an enduring American story which examines the everyday lives of an average town's citizens in the early twentieth century. Our Town, one of the greatest American plays written by Thornton Wilder, the three-time Pulitzer prize-winning playwright and novelist will be directed by David Cromer, MacArthur Foundation 'genius' grant recipient and director of KC Rep's 2009 production of The Glass Menagerie which received national and local critical acclaim. This co-production with UMKC Theatre will feature redesigned seating at Spencer Theatre in the James C. Olson performing Arts Center on the UMKC campus. The show will run tnight, September 5 through 28th.

Tickets go on sale today for FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and co-creator of 'Seinfeld.' FISH IN THE DARK, to be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will mark Larry David's Broadway debut and will feature Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez, and Jerry Adler.
