Playwrights Horizons announced today that stage and screen star Jesse Tyler Ferguson ('Modern Family,' Fully Committed, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) has joined the cast of LOG CABIN, the world premiere of a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison (Marjorie Prime, Maple and Vine, Doris to Darlene at Playwrights; 'Orange Is the New Black').

Tonight at Hayes Theatre Co in Sydney, the 2018 season of musicals and cabaret was announced at an event attended by the musical theatre industry and patrons. Going into its fifth year of programming this is the first time an entire year has been announced.

Cape Rep Theatre presents Summer Starlight, an evening to remember, Sunday, August 6, with guest of honor, Tony Award winning theatre, film and television actor, Michael Cerveris. Playwrights Horizons (Artistic Director, Tim Sanford; Managing Director, Leslie Marcus) has announced that the score for their World Premiere production of the musical IOWA has been preserved as an Original Cast Recording, produced by Michael Croiter (Matilda, The Visit, Big Fish) and Todd Almond. IOWA is written by Jenny Schwartz (God's Ear, Somewhere Fun) with music by Todd Almond (Girlfriend) and lyrics by Ms. Schwartz and Mr. Almond.
