May we respectfully suggest a trip to your local, neighborhood theater? Not only will you be entertained, transformed and transported - we're willing to be on this happening - but you'll also probably get some great costume ideas in the process! And there is the added bonus that the theater company might be in the business of renting out costumes which would make your efforts even easier than you first thought…

Kinky Boots opened its Australian tour in Melbourne on Saturday night and what a kicking success it was! A musical so appropriate for our country to see as conversation about equality and plebiscites continues.

The 27th Annual Cabaret Convention, presented by the Mabel Mercer Foundation, kicked off on October 18, putting forth performances by some of the most iconic cabaret artists which the arena has to offer, as well as introducing new but equally captivating talent of the art form. Hosted by KT Sullivan, a cabaret stalwart herself, the evening moved briskly through an impressive 19 performers, each of whom was accompanied by their very own pianist--- if they weren't accompanying themselves, that is.

Virginia's Tony-Award winning Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of The Gulf by DC playwright Audrey Cefaly. Directed by Signature's Director of New Works Joe Calarco (Signature Theatre's The Flick, Gypsy), The Gulfcontinues Signature Theatre's commitment to producing regional and local premieres of important new plays.

New York City's famed MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale) - founded in 1941 by legendary conductor Robert Shaw - will celebrate its 75th anniversary during the 2016-2017 season.

Virginia's Tony-Award winning Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of The Gulf by DC playwright Audrey Cefaly. The production stars Maria Rizzo (Signature's Gypsy, West Side Story) and Rachel Zampelli (Signature's The Fix, Dying City), and runs September 13 - November 6 in Signature Theatre's intimate ARK Theatre.
