The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced it will present, in association with Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, the Young Vic's 2015 Olivier Award-winning production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE from November 18 through December 3, 2016, in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. The press opening night is Monday, November 21, 2016.

If it's not one thing, it's your mother. McCarter Theatre Center is proud to present the World Premiere of Sharyn Rothstein's ALL THE DAYS, a blend of drama and comedy about the hectic history among eccentric mother, her grown daughter, and extended family.

The Public Theater announced today that Stew and Heidi Rodewald will perform live with the on-stage band for THE TOTAL BENT, playing the guitar and bass, respectively. With text by Stew and music by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, the team behind the Tony Award-wining musical Passing Strange, which premiered at The Public in 2003, this world premiere musical is directed by Joanna Settle. Performances begin Tuesday, May 10 and continue through Sunday, June 12, with an official press opening on Wednesday, May 25.

Following on from its critically acclaimed 2015 London run and 2016 UK Tour, Green Day's explosive Tony Award ® winning musical, American Idiot will be returning to it's London home at the Arts Theatre, for a strictly limited run from 8 July - 25 September 2016, with press night on Wednesday 13 July.

Rehearsals are underway for Tarragon Theatre's world premiere of The Summoned by celebrated Canadian actor and screenwriter Fabrizio Filippo, now making his Tarragon playwriting debut with this twisted technological thriller that  takes audiences on a whirlwind ride from the past and into the future of the digital age. Directed by Tarragon's Artistic Director Richard Rose, The Summoned previews from April 20, opens April 27 and runs to May 29 in Tarragon's Mainspace.

Victory Gardens Theater announces casting for the next show of its 41st season, the world premiere of Hillary and Clinton by Lucas Hnath, directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew. Hillary and Clinton runs April 1 - May 1, 2016, with the press performance on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 7:30 pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

The production opens with a press night today, Saturday February 27 and runs through April 3 in San Francisco's Z Below Theater.

?Lookingglass Theatre Company continues its 28th Season with Federico Garcia Lorca's Blood Wedding, translated by Michael Dewell and Carmen Zapata, and directed by Ensemble Member Daniel Ostling. Blood Wedding runs March 2 - April 24, 2016 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.

A rare revival of Orpheus Descending by Tennessee Williams will run for a limited engagement, April 23-May 14, at St. John's Lutheran Church, one of the oldest buildings in Greenwich Village. Directed by Austin Pendleton, the production features a 16-person cast lead by Irene Glezos, Thomas Beaudoin and Beth Bartley. Williams's modern version of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice opened on Broadway in 1957 and was revived in 1989 in a celebrated production directed by Sir Peter Hall and starring Vanessa Redgrave. It has rarely, if ever, been produced in New York since.

BroadwayWorld Rhode Island readers nominated four area companies as "Rising Stars/Theaters to Watch" during the 2015 Regional BroadwayWorld Awards. Now, in a four-part series, the artistic directors from each theater will join BWW RI as guest bloggers, sharing their creative vision and inspiration in their own words. First up is Kira Hawkridge, the founding artistic director of OUT LOUD Theatre.

David Mirvish will present Rupert Everett starring in the North American premiere of Neil Armfield's production of David Hare's The Judas Kiss. This production began at London's Hampstead Theatre in 2012, where it received unanimous raves and broke the theatre's box office record. Due to popular demand, it transferred to London's West End, where it also had a brilliant engagement.

The University of the Arts' Ira Brind School of Theater Arts announces the 2016 lineup for Polyphone, a "festival of the emerging musical" on the UArts campus in Philadelphia.  Running March 20-27, the 2016 the Polyphone festival produces staged concerts of new musicals and re-imagined canonical works offering professional composers, librettists and directors an opportunity to develop their work among the rich creative community of the Brind School at UArts.  The festival will program five musicals, including both classical and new works, with three performances each.
