Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, under the artistic leadership of Glenn Edgerton, will present its first-ever mixed repertory program devoted to the work of a single choreographer during the Spring Series, March 13-16, 2014. This engagement's four works by Sarabande (1990), for an all-male ensemble and set to Bach's second partita for solo violin with electronically manipulated live vocals; and Falling Angels (1989), for a cast of eight women and set to part one of Steve Reich's phased-percussion composition, Drumming, to be performed live by Third Coast Percussion, Ensemble- in-Residence at the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

ESPN Films, creators of the critically-acclaimed 30 for 30 film series, will premiere a new series in April surrounding the 2014 FIFA World Cup on ESPN. 30 for 30: Soccer Stories will include a mix of standalone feature-length and 30-minute-long documentary films from an award winning group of filmmakers telling compelling narratives from around the international soccer landscape. In addition, a collection of 10 vignettes about Brazil's rich culture will be featured throughout ESPN's FIFA World Cup programming.

Bernard Labadie will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Mozart's Requiem; J.S. Bach's Cantata No. 51, Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen!; and Handel's 'Let the Bright Seraphim' from Samson. The program's soloists will include soprano Miah Persson, mezzo- soprano Stephanie Blythe, tenor Frederic Antoun in his Philharmonic debut, bass Andrew Foster- Williams, Philharmonic Principal Trumpet Philip Smith, and the New York Choral Artists directed by Joseph Flummerfelt. The concerts will take place tonight, November 7, 2013, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, November 8 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, November 9 at 8:00 p.m.

County's 100th Anniversary, Chalk Repertory Theatre will premiere GALLERY SECRETS, four new short plays commissioned by four Los Angeles playwrights performed after hours at NHM. Each play is inspired by an assigned gallery, and set in the time period when that gallery was built, uncovering 100 years of history, architecture and exhibits.

Cherry - as Joffrey - plots how to out do the Red Wedding, while the cast tries to keep sharp objects away from her. The show must go on and the gals from the Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women do their best to show 'Joffrey' a good time.

The Emory Cinematheque, a weekly series of free 35mm screenings, presents 'American Comedy Classics,'beginning Wednesday August 28 with Billy Wilder's 'Some Like it Hot' (1959). The screenings take place each Wednesday (plus one Sunday evening) in White Hall 205. A screening of Buster Keaton's films will take place on Sunday, September 29 at 7:30. A special screening of Paul Schrader's 'Mishima' (1985) will be held on Wednesday September 25 as part of famed composer Philip Glass's visit to Emory.

Julio Botti's ZOHO Music debut, TANGO NOSTALGIAS, introduces a fresh new voice to the nuevo tango movement pioneered decades ago by Astor Piazzolla and Pablo Ziegler, Piazzolla's longtime pianist and a prolific composer and producer in his own right. For this coming out party for the young Argentinian saxophonist, an instrument not normally associated with tango music, Ziegler has re-arranged some of his most potent compositions specifically with Botti's soaring soprano horn in mind.
