Richard Eyre will direct John Mortimer's translation of Georges Feydeau's 1907 classic farce A FLEA IN HER EAR , opening for previews on 4 December 2010 (press night: 14 December). Starring Tom Hollander with Di Botcher, Jonathan Cake, Oliver Cotton, Lisa Dillon, Freddie Fox, Fiona Glascott, Lloyd Hutchinson, John Marquez, Tim McMullan, William Maxwell, Rebecca Night, Maggie Service and Walter Van Dyk, A Flea in Her Ear is a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of misunderstanding and confusion. A Flea in Her Ear is a co-production with Sonia Friedman Productions and is the second play in The Old Vic 2010-11 Season. The Season is sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

This fall, The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Executive Director) will launch The Public Forum, an exciting new series of lectures, debates and conversations that showcase leading voices in the arts, politics and the media. Curated by Jeremy McCarter, a senior writer at Newsweek, Public Forum events are open to the general public. Tickets for the inaugural event can be purchased for $25 beginning Tuesday, October 5. Member tickets are on sale Tuesday, September 28.

Great Lakes Theater Festival (GLTF) will commence its 2010-11 season in the company's revolutionary home at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, with a Fall Repertory that features William Shakespeare's psychological thriller, Othello and Oscar Wilde's witty comedy, An Ideal Husband. The productions will be performed in rotating repertory September 24 - October 31, 2010. The Fall Repertory features GLTF's resident artistic company of actors performing two alternating plays on the same stage over six weeks. Risa Brainin will direct Othello and Sari Ketter will direct An Ideal Husband.

Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) and Vanity Fair Magazine have launched a cross-platform partnership to promote the network's compelling new drama series, LONE STAR. For the first time ever, Vanity Fair will include a special DVD insert of a network pilot in the magazine. The DVD, featuring the premiere episode of LONE STAR as well as a trailer for the upcoming 20th Century Fox film 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,' will be included in the October issue. In addition, the full-length premiere will be available to users who purchase and download the October issue through Vanity Fair's iPad app.
