The Metropolitan Opera will open its 130th season on Monday, September 22 with a new production of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, conducted by Met Music Director James Levine and directed by Richard Eyre.

This spring, Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy will reprise their critically acclaimed West End performances when the hit London production of David Hare's Skylight, directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Stephen Daldry, comes to Broadway. The production played to sold-out houses when it opened in the West End in June.

Stages Repertory Theatre will present MARIE ANTOINETTE by David Adjmi, October 8 - November 2, 2014. Produced in cooperation with the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance, the play will be directed by Leslie Swackhamer and stars Emily Neves in the title role.

Casting is announced for Our Town at the Almeida Theatre. Award-winning US actor-director David Cromer will direct and perform in this intimate version of Thornton Wilder's iconic American play. Following a critically-acclaimed third season, Stark Naked Theatre Company opens its fourth season on September 5th with the southwest regional premiere of The God Game, written by award-winning playwright Suzanne Bradbeer. Celebrating its 5th year bringing live theatre to cinema audiences around the world, NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE has announced an international broadcast of Carey Mulligan, Bill Nighy and Matthew Beard in the critically acclaimed West End production of David Hare's Skylight, directed by Stephen Daldry, on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Dates will vary at venues internationally and encore screenings will follow. The production will first receive a live broadcast to cinemas in the UK on Thursday, July 17.

Iconic stage and screen actress and Academy Award nominee Kathleen Turner returns to Arena Stage following her sold-out run of Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins to make her professional singing debut as the tough-as-nails matriarch Mother Courage-a single mother determined to keep her family alive and her business afloat during war. Using the David Hare translation, the show fuses politics and satire to paint an unforgettable and provocative portrait of war, incorporating more than 10 pieces of original music composed in a rollicking, gypsy-punk style and performed by cast members doubling as musicians.
