Based on the short story by Isak Dinesen (and made famous by the 1987 Academy Award-winning film), Babette's Feast will begin performances Wednesday March 14th at the Theatre at Saint Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) for an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement.  Opening Night is set for Sunday March 25th (5pm).  The performance runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

The Warner Theatre will welcome Scotty McCreery to the Main Stage on Thursday, March 15 at 8 pm.After a five year wait and a multitude of life changes, the country music star will release his new album Seasons Change onMarch 16 which includes his smash hit song 'Five More Minutes.'  

Nashville Children's Theatre, the nation's oldest professional theatre for young audiences will perform Mockingbird from March 1-18. Based on the award-winning book, Mockingbird provides a look at how a parent and his daughter with Asperger's syndrome cope with a tragic loss due to a school shooting.

Geva Theatre Center's 2017-2018 Season continues with The Diary of Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman and directed by David Ira Goldstein, in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from February 13 through March 18.

This morning, Ringling College of Art and Design announced it has received its largest single gift and the first eight-figure gift since the institution was founded in 1931. The generous donation of $15 million was given by Board of Trustees' member Dr. Joel Morganroth and his wife Dr. Gail Morrison Morganroth.

Palo Alto Players continues its 2017-18 Season with THE LARAMIE PROJECT, the powerful drama originally developed by Mois s Kaufman and members of Tectonic Theater Project in the aftermath of the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old gay student at the University of Wyoming. The play chronicles the reactions of the town of Laramie, Wyoming in the year after the murder, bringing to life the real people who lived at the epicenter of one of the nation's most heart-wrenching anti-gay hate crimes. THE LARAMIE PROJECT is directed by Lee Ann Payne and features a cast of eight local Bay Area actors, portraying more than sixty characters on stage. The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra (KSO) Lindy hops back to two Swing Eras for it's November 18th show at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Della Reese, the star of TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL and a talented singer, passed away Sunday November 19 from years of struggling with diabetes. She was 86.
