Today, Moment Factory and Cipriani announced the opening of Dream Ship DestiNY (alternatively D.S. DestiNY), an interactive and immersive journey to New York City that will be showcased at the historic Cunard Building. With D.S. DestiNY, Moment Factory, a multimedia entertainment studio known for creating captivating installations across the globe, will give audiences a chance to explore an NYC landmark, as it is transformed into an entertainment experience. D.S. DestiNY will begin previews on August 24 and official opening date to be announced soon.

Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT) conducts Mahler's Symphony No. 4, Mozart's Exsultate, jubilate, and American Maverick Carl Ruggles's Evocations at Carnegie Hall, Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, in his first performance with The MET Orchestra, Tuesday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m. This will be the first time that The MET Orchestra performs a work by Ruggles. The program's featured soloist is soprano Pretty Yende, who sings in Exsultate, jubilate and the finale of the Mahler symphony.

Today, The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Most have announced that Lisa Wong has been named Director of Choruses for The Cleveland Orchestra, effective immediately. The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus is one of the few professionally trained, all-volunteer choruses sponsored by a major American orchestra. Its members hail from nearly fifty Cleveland-area communities and together contribute more than 15,000 volunteer hours to the Orchestra's music-making each year. Wong will hold the Frances P. and Chester C. Bolton Director of Choruses Endowed Chair.

During 2018, the Finborough Theatre celebrates 150 years of the Finborough Theatre's building - and its birthday also coincides with the 150th anniversary of the birth of French symbolist playwright Paul Claudel. The Vancouver Art Gallery announces a new exhibition uniting the works of two women artists practicing in British Columbia in the early twentieth century in Emily Carr in Dialogue with Mattie Gunterman, on view at the Gallery from April 28 to September 3, 2018. Home to the world's finest collection of Emily Carr works, the Gallery pairs a selection of paintings by Emily Carr (1871-1945) from its permanent collection with forty-eight photographs by US-born photographer Mattie Gunterman (1872-1945). Gunterman's photos are on loan from the private collection of Vancouver photographer and writer Henri Robideau.

Opera Orlando returns to the intimate setting of the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for part of their 2018-2019 season.
