Award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre returns to the First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival (Thursday, September 17 - Saturday, September 26) for its fourth time in four years. PUSH will present three, all-ages performances at RAPA at School of the Arts' Allen Main Stage Theatre (45 Prince St.): Saturday, Sept. 19 at noon (no swears); Friday, Sept. 25 at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. (some swears) Tickets are $18 and available now at rochesterfringe.com or 585-957-9837 (phone fees apply), or starting Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Fringe Box Office (corner of Main & Gibbs Sts.), or at the venue door one hour before show time. Humphreys directs Scott Arthur (Benvolio), Charlie Bate (Pastor), Morfydd Clark (Juliet), Joanna Croll (Lady Montague/Sister), Freddie Fox (Romeo), Michael Hodgson (Capulet), Jonny Holden (Tybalt), Hugh John (The Prince), Robin Kingsland (Montague), Andrew Leung (Paris/Abram), Rachel Lumberg (The Nurse), Simon Manyonder (Mercutio),Shaun Mason (Sampson/Capitan), Joshua Miles (Peter/Gregory/Balthasar) and Natalie Thomas (Lady Capulet). The production opens on 23 September, with previews from 17 September, and runs until 17 October.

Now in its 15th year, Park Slope's Piper Theatre Productions (Piper) continues to produce innovative, accessible theater; foster emerging talent; and support local youth through a rigorous summer theater program. This summer, Piper is excited to partner with the Romanian Cultural Institute, travel to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, screen original student films alongside an indie work, and present fantastic family theater that will engage the community and excite veteran theatergoers and newbies alike. All performances are free and take place outdoors at the Old Stone House's Washington Park field on 4th Avenue in Park Slope.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, named the best musical of the 20th century by Time magazine, returns to the Festival for the first time in over twenty years in a vibrant production directed by Susan H. Schulman. Previews began Tuesday, May 5, at the Avon Theatre.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) has announced the complete cast for the musical Peter Pan, its second production of the 2015 Nutmeg Summer Series. Directed by Cassie Abate, Peter Pan will star Riley Costello in the title role. Costello was recently seen as Dunlap Dewberry in Because of Winn Dixie at Arkansas Repertory Theatre and as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Costello's Broadway credits include Bye, Bye Birdie, 13: the musical, and Everyday Rapture. Performances of Peter Pan begin on June 18, 2015 and run through July 3, 2015 at Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre.
