Primary Stages continues its 29th season with a new production of their acclaimed 1995 OBIE Award winner, The Model Apartment, by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies (Shipwrecked!, Time Stands Still, Dinner with Friends, Sight Unseen). Italy's Dario D'Ambrosi is a radical innovator of the theater and founder of the movement called Teatro Patologico (Pathological Theater). Having staged revolutionary interpretations of 'Richard III' in 1996 and 'Romeo and Juliet' in 2009, he is now taking on 'Hamlet' with a new full-length work, 'Hamlet Hallucinations.' La MaMa E.T.C., D'Ambrosi's theatrical home in the USA, will present the work's world premiere October 17 to November 3.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the directors for the Company's 2013-2014 Main Stage season at the Addison Theatre Centre. Directing the season opener, Hank Williams: Lost Highway (October 11-November 3, 2013) will be Michael Serrecchia. The Game's Afoot (or Holmes for the Holidays) (December 13- January 5, 2014) will be directed by Robin Armstrong. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (January 24-February 16, 2014) will be directed by Emily Scott Banks. Chance Theater presents the fourth show of its 15th Anniversary Season - the Tony nominated drama Time Stands Still by renowned playwright Donald Margulies, and directed by Marya Mazor. Time Stands Still begins previews on September 27, opens October 4 and continues through October 27 at Chance Theater.

While completing high school together at Hunter in Manhattan, friends Alec Grossman and Rachel Kaly set out to write a play. Today, they have grown into college students, and their play, the aptly-named The Adventures of Boy and Girl, has grown along with them: it is entering its second production at the New York Fringe Festival following a performance in 2011 at the Stella Adler Theater in Hollywood.

Pharmaceutical Sue, Mister Button's wife invents the cleverist crinkless shirt spray. They live in Misty Mildew Mountains, a town over which Mister Button reigns as mayor. It is Pharmaceutical Sue's new spray that brings the two main characters, Mister Button and Columbus the Charismatic Cockroach, together. The benign, powerfully magical Dr. Stilla Herbalnovice who created or helped create much of Mister Button's world, explains the significance of Sue's invention and how the universe is in great unrest. Though the charismatic Mister Button targets the children's market, teaching cooperation, friendship and compassion, it can easily be appreciated by adults.

Anthony Rapp has just been announced as joining the cast of If/Then, the new musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director). Mr. Rapp joins the previously announced Tony Award-Winners Idina Menzel and LaChanze in the world premiere musical. If/Then will play Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) in spring 2014, beginning preview performances on Tuesday, March 4, and officially opening on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
