In CAMELOT Arthur doesn’t quite get there.” Award-winning actor Charles Shaughnessy is talking about his experience playing Arthur, King of the Britains, in two different musicals. Shaughnessy is poised to reprise his role as the monarch in the Ogunquit Playhouse’s SPAMALOT, which opens at the theatre’s new Leary Pavilion on June 16 and runs through July 10, 2021. He first appeared there in the Monty Python musical comedy in 2011 and also played Arthur in Lerner and Loewe’s CAMELOT at North Shore Music Theatre in 2005.

This short film is an homage to, and celebration of, one-of-a-kinds Sam Singhaus and Marcy Singhaus who both passed months apart over this last year.

The Road Theatre Company has begun streaming playwright Steve Yockey’s REYKJAVÍK, their second show of their 2021 virtual season. Set in Reykjavík, Iceland, Ann Hearn Tobolowsky directs the REYKJAVÍK cast of Stephen Tyler Howell, Alaska Jackson, Carlos Lacamara, Brian Ibsen, Danny Lee Gomez and Jacqueline Misaye. Ann managed to find some time between REYKJAVÍK rehearsals, and being half of a beloved Los Angeles theatre acting/directing couple, to answer a few of my enquiries.

Gold Coast Jazz Society brings Award-winning Jazz Singer Nicole Henry to Broward County on May 12th, Henry is sure to magnetize excitement and attraction in this beloved venue after a year of theater closure. 

A musical based on the classic 1869 two volume novel semi-autobiographical written by Louisa May Alcott. The story of the four March sisters. This story has been adapted to stage and screen numerous times, including the recent 2019 Hollywood movie release. The Broadway production opened in 2005.
