On Friday, July 16, 2021 at 8pm PT, Sarah Cahill will return to Old First Concerts to perform selections from her project, The Future is Female. This is a hybrid concert – seating is limited to 100 people at Old First Church and general admission is $25.

In my opinion, the show was in a constant state of confusion. John Barry's score was extremely 70's jazz-funk inspired. The songs were all akin to pop songs, except for a small few. Lerner's lyrics were quite good, but with a lackluster score they became bland. The script was the biggest problem.

On June 12, 2020, Naxos will release Giancarlo Guerrero and the Nashville Symphony's world premiere recordings of music by Pulitzer-, GRAMMY- and Grawemeyer-winning composer Aaron Jay Kernis (b. 1960). The album is the first of three new recordings of American music to be released on Naxos this summer from the GRAMMY-winning artists. Titles dedicated to music by the late Christopher Rouse and by Tobias Picker will be released in July and August, respectively.

State Theatre New Jersey and WillJam Productions present the Golden Oldies Spectacular on Saturday, March 21, 2020, 7pm. The Golden Oldies features Jay and the Americans, BJ Thomas, Lou Christie, Dennis Tufano, and the 1910 Fruitgum Company. Tickets range from $35-$85.

These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, 'Vision of Love,”  “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” “Shout,” “The Joker,” “Hollaback Girl,” “Heaven is a Place on Earth,” and “Dancing In The Street.” The star-studded induction event is slated for Thursday, June 11th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Alexei Ratmansky's Shostakovich Trilogy returns to San Francisco Ballet (SF Ballet) May 7-12, closing the Company's 2019 Repertory Season at the War Memorial Opera House. Called a "fascinating, thrilling, bewilderingly ambiguous evocation of life in Shostakovich's Russia" (The New York Times), and simply, "a masterpiece" (San Francisco Chronicle), Shostakovich Trilogy is Ratmansky's homage to the composer, using three of his full-length works: the Symphony No. 9, Chamber Symphony, and Piano Concerto No. 1.
