The Old Globe's 2017 2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for Anton Chekhov's masterpiece Uncle Vanya, which has received a Globe-commissioned world premiere translation from Richard Nelson, Richard Pevear, andLarissa Volokhonsky. Richard Nelson (Illyria, The Gabriel Plays, Tony Award winner for Best Book of a Musical for James Joyce's The Dead) also directs. Uncle Vanya will run February 10 March 11, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run February 10 14. Opening night is Thursday, February 15 at 8:00 p.m.

All shows will be in the company's home, the Marcelle Theater, in the Grand Center Arts District.

Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, RENT, created by Adelphi graduate Jonathan Larson ('82), has become a pop culture phenomenon. The Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (PAC) opened its doors in the fall of 2008 with the first college production of this beloved musical. We are honored to kick off our 10th anniversary season in a similar fashion with a concert version of the show, featuring a cast of some of Broadway's finest performers.RENT in Concert will be performed on Saturday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. on the Westermann Stage, Concert Hall in the Adelphi PAC, 1 South Ave, Garden City, New York.

Undermain Theatre's 34th season examines the world from a largely female perspective with three mainstage productions and adds a 4 week reading series of new American work in the spring. Our world premiere and season opener examines the world of Mexican cartels as portrayed by an all-female cast, by an evolving young writer. Our fall production is a regional premiere of an established Pulitzer-prize winning playwright, which takes place in an American setting inhabited and driven by three different generations of women in an eerie atmosphere near a Civil War battleground.
