The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Playful Productions announce the West End transfer for acclaimed, historical two-part thriller IMPERIUM - I: Conspirator and II: Dictator, running for a limited engagement at London's Gielgud Theatre from 14 June to 8 September 2018.

The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) is proud to present La Frontera: Encounters Along the Border, an international exhibition of contemporary jewelry that explores the US-Mexico border as a complex landscape of human interaction. Opening today and running through September 23, the exhibition features forty-eight artists from the United States, Latin America, and Europe whose works expose the underlying currents of the border environment within geographic, ecological, political, economic, social, cultural, and ideological contexts.

So begins this wildly imaginative comedy by MacArthur Genius Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl, author of the Ross Valley Players hit The Clean House. A work about how we memorialize the dead - and how that remembering changes us - it is the odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own assumptions about morality, redemption, and the need to connect in a technologically obsessed world.

Continuing its commitment to bringing free Shakespeare to the community and strengthening audience engagement with the arts, The Public Theater will mount its MOBILE UNIT again this spring with a free three-week tour to the five boroughs of Shakespeare's HENRY V, directed by Robert O'Hara.Now in its eighth year, the Mobile Unit's free tour (March 29 - April 21) brings Shakespeare and other works to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts by visiting correctional facilities, homeless shelters, social service organizations, and other community venues.

Obie Award winning Metropolitan Playhouse revives A Marriage Contract, Augustin Daly's uproarious and poignant commentary on marriage, family, and the contrast between county and city life. Staged by Artistic Director Alex Roe at Metropolitan Playhouse, 220 E. 4th Street, New York City. This production marks, to our knowledge, the first time the play is being presented since 1892 premiere. It is worth noting that the script only exists in manuscript form and was never published.

Lantern Theater Company announces its upcoming 2018/19 mainstage season, which will include an ambitious and eclectic mix of classical, contemporary, and new work for the stage. The five plays that comprise the company's 2018/19 season include the Philadelphia premiere of Hapgood, Tom Stoppard's fascinating and fast-paced tale of Russian spies and nuclear physics at the height of the Cold War; the Philadelphia premiere of David Ives' poetic farce, The Heir Apparent; Betrayal by Harold Pinter, a sophisticated drama about love, sex, marriage, and friendship; William Shakespeare's dark comedy Measure for Measure; and Minors, a world premiere musical by Philadelphia artists Kittson O'Neill and Tony Award-winner Robert Kaplowitz. This new Lantern-commissioned work represents the company's first foray into musical theater and is inspired by the notorious "kids for cash" scandal in which corrupt judges sentenced youths to for-profit juvenile detention centers in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art announce the complete lineup for the 47th annual New Directors/New Films (ND/NF), March 28-April 8. Throughout its rich, nearly half-century history, the festival celebrates filmmakers who represent the present and anticipate the future of cinema, daring artists whose work pushes the envelope in unexpected ways. This year's festival will introduce 25 features and 10 short films to New York audiences.

Artists Rep presents The Holler Sessions, written, directed and performed by Frank Boyd in collaboration with the Brooklyn-based theatre ensemble, the TEAM. This one-weekend, limited engagement production is the second of Artists Rep's 2017/18 FRONTIER SERIES that brings new work in performance to Portland. The Theatre Group at SBCC will present will be the comedy thriller COMMUNICATING DOORS by Alan Ayckbourn, directed by Katie Laris, February 28-March 17, 2018  in the Garvin Theatre. Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director | Jim Bredeson, Managing Director) today announced the cast for their next REVELATION READING, Moliere's Don Juan, adapted & directed by Stephen Wadsworth: Mary Bacon, Gilbert Cruz, Francesca Faridany, Adam Green, Adam Greer, Allen Tedder, Adam Stein, Mary Testa, and Raphael Nash Thompson, on Monday February 12th at 7:30 PM at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson Streets). Stephen Wadsworth's version of Don Juan was commissioned by the Seattle Repertory Theatre and the McCarter Theatre and has recently been published by Smith and Kraus.
