The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company presents Red Velvet, the third production in the inaugural Plays at the Garrick season. David Mirvish presents Patrick Hamilton's classic mystery thriller GASLIGHT, running now through through Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the newly reconfigured 1,384 seat Ed Mirvish Theatre. Media night is tonight, January 20, at 8pm.

Coventry's Belgrade Theatre is banishing the winter blues with a brand new production of Moliere's rarely performed romantic comedy, The Sisterhood, which will be directed by Artistic Director Hamish Glen and runs from Sat 30 Jan - Sat 20 Feb 2016 in B2.

The Lyric Hammersmith today announces its Spring 2016 Season. They will present the first professional production of Simon Stephen's HERONS since the play premiered at the Royal Court in 2001, directed by the Lyric's Artistic Director Sean Holmes. This is followed by the return of their co- production with Filter Theatre of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM last staged in 2012. he Public Theaterannounced complete casting today for the new musical SOUTHERN COMFORT that tells the true story of a group of transgender friends living life on their own terms in the back hills of rural Georgia.  Directed by Thomas Caruso and based on the film by Kate Davis, SOUTHERN COMFORT features book and lyrics by Dan Collins and music by Julianne Wick Davis, and was conceived for the stage by Robert DuSold and Thomas Caruso. SOUTHERN COMFORT begins previews on Tuesday, February 23 and will run through Sunday, March 27 in The Public's Anspacher Theater, with an official press opening on Monday, March 7.
