FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW - Adam B. Levowitz, producer, composer and music director's  "The Quentin Tarantino Songbook, Vol. 1: Music from Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown" on Friday, January 22 at 9:30pm.

Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre (CAMT) has created 'The New World Symphony: Dvorak in America,' a play chronicling the American years (1892-1895) of Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, during which he produced a flurry of 'American' works. GOH Productions and Dvorak-American Heritage Association (DAHA) will present the piece as a work in progress January 30 and 31, 2016 at Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd Street (Upper East Side). This production is preparatory to the play's upcoming world premiere run, which will be presented by La Mama Experimental Theatre, 66 East 4th Street (East Village), six weeks later: from March 10 to 27, 2016 (see more info below). December 1, 2015 – Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual holiday family tradition, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 20 at 3:00pm at the Tivoli Theatre. The CSO's annual holiday program returns to its roots with traditional holiday fare, featuring special guest vocalist and Chattanooga native Scott Coulter, star of the Emmy-nominated PBS Special A Christmas Carol: The Concert. Coulter will perform songs such as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “O Holy Night”, and pieces from A Christmas Carol.

For generations, RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA existed only as a beloved television movie. First with a live broadcast in 1957 starring Julie Andrews; then in 1965 with Lesley Ann Warren, a version which was regularly re-broadcast into the 90s (which I grew up watching); and finally in 1997 with Brandy in the title role and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. However, in 2013, over 55 years after its first broadcast, led by Broadway's favorite princess Laura Osnes and crowned prince Santino Fontana, R&H 's CINDERELLA took its first Broadway bow. The show earned nine Tony nominations, running for nearly two years. Now, CINDERELLA's First National Tour sets up shop in its own little corner at Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, with performances beginning on Tuesday night.

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director presents DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA, an explosive study of alienation and the redemptive power of love by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley (Doubt, Moonstruck). Lissa Moira directs John Talerico and Susan Mitchell*. Twelve performances will be staged at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue (bet. 9th and 10th Streets), New York, NY 10003 from tonight, September 24 - October 11, 2015.
