In a small pub in Prestonpans, East Lothian, four millennials are told a story. The true story of four local miners who, 86 years ago, travelled from the streets of Prestonpans to the valleys of Spain. They gave up everything that was familiar: for a land that was not; for a people they had never met; and for a cause they believed was right.

Written in 1936, The House of Bernarda Alba is considered one of the masterpieces of Spanish theatre. Queer playwright Federico García Lorca wrote this all-female play as an analogy of the sexual and emotional repression he experienced throughout his life.

The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson will now play the Ethel Barrymore Theatre for its 17-week engagement. The production was originally supposed to come to the St. James Theatre, current home of Into The Woods, which is rumored to be extending.
