Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC) returns with its 17th season, featuring two mainstage productions, Veil'd and Follies, that take theatergoers on a journey of self-awareness.

Rehearsals are set to begin on Tuesday, July 25 for the Playwrights Horizons New York premiere production of For Peter Pan on her 70th Birthday, a new play by two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl (Stage Kiss, Dead Man's Cell Phone at Playwrights; In the Next Room, or the vibrator play; The Clean House).

Due to a professional scheduling conflict, Matthew Morrison has withdrawn from the previously announced performance of Sondheim on Sondheim on Sunday, July 23, at 7.30 pm at the Hollywood Bowl.

James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's classic musical FOLLIES, which begins at the National Theatre in August, will be broadcast live to cinemas across the US and internationally on Thursday, November 16th as part of National Theatre Live.
