A Public Interview with Stephen Rea and Sam Shepard will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Sitnik Theatre in the David and Carol Lackland Center, 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown. The event is free and open to the public.

Darlinghurst Theatre Company and the Enright family hosted a special event at Eternity Playhouse this evening in honour of the late Nick Enright. Over the next three years, the Enright family is supporting Darlinghurst Theatre Company to produce three plays by the renowned Australian playwright including Daylight Saving in 2014, as well as two other works in 2015 and 2016.

From a blind date that resets at the ring of a bell to three chimpanzees writing the first draft of a Shakespearean play, there is madness for all tastes as the Hilberry Theatre Company presents All in the Timing by David Ives. This production will feature eight of Ives' one-act plays, and will be performed in repertory -- opening on Friday, November 21, 2014 and running through January 31, 2015.

This autumn Richard Alston is reviving his classic Overdrive, an exhilarating blast of nonstop dance to the pulsating rhythms of Californian minimalist Terry Riley. The ten dancers of Richard Alston Dance Company ride seamlessly across the surging waves of Riley's relentless patterning, in an intricate and mesmeric crescendo of movement and sound. Overdrive is one of 12 prescribed professional works for GCSE Dance on the AQA syllabus. This new company production is led by master director Canadian Robert Carsen and COC Music Director Johannes Debus with internationally acclaimed Canadian bass-baritoneGerald Finley making a long-awaited return to the COC in his role debut as the impoverished, loveable knight, Sir John Falstaff. Falstaff is sung in Italian with English SURTITLESTM and comes to the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts for seven performances today, October 3 and October 9, 12, 14, 25, 29 and November 1, 2014.

To coincide with this production, the Lantern will also present In Arcadia: Celebrating Tom Stoppard's Masterpiece, a four-day festival featuring a panel discussion about the play's rich and varied themes with Stoppard expert Toby Zinman, a high tea, special performances of some of Stoppard's rarely-performed short works, and other experiential events from October 23 - 26.

Sound Theatre Company completes its eighth season with the Seattle professional premiere of Blood Relations by Sharon Pollock, in partnership with GianT Projects. Blood Relations is a tense thriller based on the historical facts and speculation surrounding Lizzie Borden, who was charged with the 1892 murders of her father and stepmother. Ten years after her acquittal, Lizzie is pressed by her lover to reveal what happened. Lizzie has her re-enact the events in her place, facing the same choices with startling results.

San Francisco Opera presents the Company premiere of Carlisle Floyd's two-act opera Susannah today, September 6 at the War Memorial Opera House.

Ralph Lee's Mettawee River Theatre Company will return for its annual September season in the lovely Outdoor Garden of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine with 'The Dancing Fox: Wisdom Tales of the Middle East,' five enchanting tales from the shared folk traditions of Jews and Arabs, including the writings of Sufi mystics, along with fables and folklore of the region. Six weekend performances, September 5, 6, 7 and 12, 13, 14 at 7:30 PM in the Garden, entrance on 111th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Chairs are provided, but audiences may also bring blankets for closer seating in front of the chairs - and snacks! 'The Dancing Fox' is recommended for audience members eight years and older.

The Denver Center Theatre Company today announced the complete cast and creative team for the highly anticipated new adaptation of Meredith Willson's classic musical, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN. Based on the book by Richard Morris, the revitalized production will feature a new book and additional lyrics by three-time Tony Award nominee Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and showcase never before heard songs from Willson's prolific body of work with musical adaptation by Michael Rafter (Violet). The production opens for previews on September 12 in The Stage Theatre and will be directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes).

Shakespeare & Company's Dennis Krausnick, a founder and also Director of Training, steps into the title role of Julius Caesar for a brief run beginning July 15 through August 2. Nigel Gore, who has been playing Caesar since it opened several weeks ago, takes a short-term leave from the show after this weekend's performance on Sunday July 13-Gore will be back in the role Saturday, August 9. Garden Grove is about to get a whole lot funnier with the integration of the critically acclaimed Troubadour Theatre Company's rendition of A Midsummer Saturday Night's Fever Dream in Shakespeare/Summerfest Orange County's 2014 season. This play-off of Shakespeare's classic comedy, directed by Matt Walker, tells this story of magic potions and foolish lovers through some of disco's greatest hits. The production includes a cast made up of acrobats, musicians, improvisers, and clowns, as well as a four piece band and an almost entirely improvised second act.

The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, New York Live Arts' Resident Dance Company, announced today the touring programs and productions for the 2014-2015 Season. With 7 actors playing multiple roles this poetry-filled psychological and political thriller follows the conspiracy and assassination of the omnipotent Roman leader, and the consequences that ensue from his brutal murder.
