Longtime Synetic Theater Company Member and fan-favorite Alex Mills will star in the company's wordless adaptation of Shakespeare's Richard III May 15 through June 16, 2019 in Crystal City.

Robert Cavanah as Nic, Madeleine Worrall as Luda and Laurie Ogden as Connie join the previously announced Georgia May Foote as Vita, Hannah Bristow as Fran, Mona Goodwin as Tina, Gloria Onitiri as Celia and Stephen Hogan as Albert in the 2019 European Premiere of Meghan Kennedy's NAPOLI, BROOKLYN, beginning a UK Tour on 1 May at Malvern Theatres, running through to 8 June at Oxford Playhouse. The Tour will be followed by a limited four-week season from 13 June to 13 July at Park Theatre, London, with a national press night on Monday 17 June 2019.

Joining previously announced French-Canadian stage and screen star Audrey Brisson as Amelie Poulain, Danny Mac will play the sweet daydreamer Nino Quincampoix from 22 May. The role of Nino will be played by Chris Jared during performances at The Watermill Theatre.

The AA Arts Incubator Program of Asian Improv Arts Midwest (AIRMW) is pleased to announce that its historic series, 'Our Perspective: Asian American Play Readings,' continues with its second reading in 2019. The next reading is the comedic full length play Lucy and Charlie's Honeymoon by Matthew C. Random Access Theatre opens its 2019 season with the World Premiere of Miranda from Stormville by Adam Bertocci. The production, a modern retelling of Shakespeare's The Tempest, runs March 14 - 24 at the IRT Theater in the West Village. Artistic Director and co-founder, Jennifer Sandella directs. Bertocci's previous productions include the highly acclaimed, Two Gentlemen of Lebowski (published by Simon & Schuster). Miranda from Stormville is part of IRT's 3B Development Series.

She is taken in by a loving family and cared for by brilliant and kind sisters, Frieda and Claudia. The character-driven play, both poetic and daringly funny, illuminates the destructive powers of racism and class dynamics while exploring the power of community through exquisite storytelling. The Bluest Eye is produced in collaboration with Norfolk State University Theatre Company.
