This fall, composer, vocalist, and mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile begins his season-long residency as holder of Carnegie Hall's 2018-2019 Richard and Barbara Debs Composer's Chair. Thile-a multiple Grammy Award winner and MacArthur Fellow-will be featured in a five-concert residency that spans the breadth of his musical endeavors, revealing the unique art of a performing composer as well as the evolution of collaborative composition.

The Eagles - Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey - are bringing their critically acclaimed tour to Europe in 2019 and will perform classics spanning their career, including “Hotel California,” “One of These Nights,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Desperado,” and many more. The tour begins on Sunday 26 May at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, and includes concerts in Cologne, Munich, Amsterdam, Zurich, Stockholm, Copenhagen, London (with Special Guest Sheryl Crow), Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow, and Dublin. A full house of top-tier comedians are scheduled to headline the 2019 Aces of Comedy series inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino. "Fluffy" comedian Gabriel Iglesias, "Last Comic Standing" champion Iliza Shlesinger and Comedy Central host Daniel Tosh, among others, are set to deliver the royal flush of comedy next year inside the Terry Fator Theatre. The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center announces the 2019 dates for the 38th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio. The first and longest-running Conjunto festival in the country will be held May 15-19, 2019, in the historic Guadalupe Theater and Rosedale Park on the city's Westside. The festival continues the cultural tradition of this uniquely South Texas musical genre by featuring over 30 of the best, most-popular, and emerging bands from across the state, country and the world. Transport Group has announced its 2018-2019 mainstage season of two productions: Renascence, a world premiere musical about a radical and reckless poet and The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, a play about the trial that sparked a national wave of Vietnam War resistance. Renascence will run October 5 - November 17, 2018 and The Trial of the Catonsville Nine will run January 16 - February 23, 2019.
