Development is underway for the new musical RUTKA. Selections from the show's exhilarating indie rock score will be presented on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. 

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 Season continues with The Puccini Duo: a double-bill of the tragic Suor Angelica and the witty comic opera Gianni Schicchi on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances.

Pasadena Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Danny Feldman announced the latest news for the theater’s upcoming six-month-long celebration of the works and impact of Stephen Sondheim January 26 through June 11, 2023.

A beloved holiday tradition will return to People’s Light with the world premiere of Alice in Wonderland: A Musical Panto. Alice in Wonderland: A Musical Panto runs November 16 through January 1 on the Leonard C. Haas Stage.

Producers Ken Davenport and Primary Wave Music announced the development of The Ten, a new musical project inspired by the power and spiritual energy of gospel, featuring music that also draws from hip-hop, bluegrass, R&B, soul, and the blues.

Quintessence Theatre Group, Philadelphia's professional classic repertory theatre, begins Season XIII: Celebrating the Extraordinary with Eugène Ionesco’s The Chairs. Directed by Quintessence’s Artistic Director Alexander Burns, The Chairs, full of absurdist philosophy, witty wordplay and slapstick comedy runs through October 23. Shattered Globe Theatre has announced its 2022-23 Season, currently underway with the Chicago premiere of STEW, Zora Howard’s Pulitzer Prize Finalist for Drama, directed by Malkia Stampley, playing through October 22, 2022 at Theater Wit.

MCC Theater has announced the return of their full in-person season for the MCC Youth Company and Student Matinee programs after operating remotely and in a hybrid program for the last two seasons. MCC will be hosting a two day in-person audition on Thursday October 20 and Friday October 21, 2022, from 4:30 – 6:30pm.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 will present the world premiere production of YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXEGESIS, a new play by Julia May Jonas, directed by Annie Tippe, which will begin performances Saturday, November 19 and run for six weeks only through Saturday, December 31 at the Claire Tow Theater.  Opening night is Monday, December 5.
