The Muny announced today that Broadway director and writer Gordon Greenberg will revise the book for Meet Me In St. Louis, August 4 - 12. This production, the 8th in Muny history, will also include several songs new to the stage adaptation of Meet Me In St. Louis, including 'Boys and Girls Like You and Me,' a song written by Rodgers & Hammerstein for Oklahoma! and then recorded for, but ultimately cut, from the film of Meet Me In St. Louis. This production will also include the first stage use of 'You and I,' a song in the film by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed.

The 2018 McCammon Voice Competition judges have chosen the semi-finalists for the eighteenth biennial competition, to be held on March 16, 2018 at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The finals will be held March 17, 2018 at Bass Performance Hall. Duncan Alanson Spencer (1911-1999), the legendary Scenic Artist behind some of Hollywood's greatest films, will be honored by the Art Directors Guild Gallery 800 (ADG, IATSE Local 800) in a special exhibit entitled “The Golden Brush: A Tribute to Duncan Alanson Spencer.” Spencer's career spanned over 38 years and over 400 movies including The Wizard of Oz, White Christmas, Meet Me in St. Louis and Ziegfeld Follies. The exhibit opens with a hosted opening reception on Saturday, February 10 from 5 - 9pm and will run through April 7, 2018.

Music fans wanting a little variety with their summer tour package will get that very thing with the “Poison…Nothin' But A Good Time 2018” tour. Iconic rock band POISON, with all original members, will be joined by CHEAP TRICK and POP EVIL on its trek across the U.S. this summer. GFour Productions, winner of 44 Tony Awards and 54 Drama Desk Awards, has announced the cast of the international hit show Menopause The Musical coming to the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza, 635 Westport Plaza, in St. Louis for weekly performances beginning Tuesday, January 9 and running through Saturday, March 31.

For the 84th Kritzerland show, they have their annual all-young people show, one of our favorites to do every year. From the very beginning of Kritzerland shows back in 2010 they've always featured young performers in our shows - in fact, they were the first cabaret show to ever do so and opened those doors. They love young performers - their energy and joy and spirit - and we've had some brilliant ones over these eight years. But this is the night that they all get to shine on their own. Some of this year's young people have been with then before, some are new, and all are extremely talented.
