With the slogan “Theatre In These Trying Times”, the 25th edition of the festival has set out to breathe fresh air into both the world of theatre and to theatre lovers with a programme of mostly new productions that look at the world, which is in search of a new normal, through the lens of theatre.

Hull born actress Louise Willoughby will join the production to star as 'Amy Johnson' and Benedict Salter (whose previous Watermill credits include The Importance of Being Earnest and A Little Night Music) will reprise his original role, supporting her playing a series of other male parts.

Stockard Channing and Rebecca Night will perform in the Pulitzer Prize-winning 'night, Mother by Marsha Norman.  This astonishing play, which had its UK premiere at Hampstead Theatre in 1985, will be directed by the theatre's Artistic Director, Roxana Silbert.  'night, Mother will run from 22 October until 4 December 2021.

Celebrity Attractions has announced that season tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, August 25th at 10am for the extraordinary lineup of five national Broadway tours in Celebrity Attractions’ 2021-2022 Broadway Season at Robinson Performance Hall.

The Actors' Gang Theater announces a new Axis Mundi evening as part of its digital season: Axis Mundi – In Conversation with Tim Robbins and theatrical legend and visionary director, Peter Brook. The free event, produced in partnership with Fundación Teatro a Mill, will be translated into French and Spanish and will be streamed Thursday, March 25th at 7 pm PST through Zoom and Facebook Live. Dallas Summer Musicals, in partnership with Broadway Across America, today announced the revised lineup of Broadway shows coming to Dallas in its next season, including the performance dates for the return engagement of HAMILTON, November 16 - December 5, 2021.

 Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) and the Equity in the Arts and Culture Committee of the Brooklyn NAACP, in collaboration with Tony® and Grammy® Award nominee Valisia LeKae (Motown the Musical, The Book of Mormon), will present a one-night virtual fundraising event titled “Scenes From Sweet Lorraine The Play.” LeKae is the executive producer of the project, which is an adaptation of Sweet Lorraine, co-written by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj and Adam Mace.
