Whenever The Rolling Stones do anything, they do it with quality and gravitas. Having defined rock'n'roll in the '60s, The Rolling Stones entered their imperial phase in 1971 with Sticky Fingers. What followed is a run of albums that couldn't have happened at any other time, by any other band: the decadent excess of Exile On Main St, the Jamaican voodoo swamp of Goats Head Soup, the disco and punk-infused prowl of Some Girls. With each new decade, the Stones evolved while staying true to their roots, coming full circle in 2016 with Blue & Lonesome, a love letter to their first inspiration: the blues. Walnut Street Theatre's 2017-18 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the hard-hitting and gripping A STEADY RAIN. Written by Keith Huff and directed by Fran Prisco, the production begins previews on February 20, opens February 22, and continues through March 25.

L.A. ZOO LIGHTS, awarded USA Today's '10 Best Zoo Lights' honors in 2015 and 2016, returns for its fourth spectacular year to shimmer for seven weeks of wonder, awe and 'wow!' from Today, November 17, 2017, through Sunday, January 7, 2018 (except November 23 and December 24/25) at the L.A. Zoo.

Celebrated performer Barb Jungr put this collection of songs together a couple of years ago (alongside long-time collaborator and pianist, Simon Wallace) and has been taking the songs across the UK and the US, amongst other places, as well as appearing on the bill of the Art of Protest cabaret at the Donmar Warehouse earlier this year. Jungr describes the show as hundreds and hundreds of words packed together incomprehensibly , hoping to show the nice side of Dylan and the nastiness of Cohen.
