During that time she found a home at the hit Disney show ALADDIN, dressed the world famous Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and worked backstage at Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein during New York Fashion Week.

As performers we have to have great discipline and I feel John has used that asset very well in his transition to becoming an entrepreneur.

Today's guest is Christine Sienicki. Christine became a Rockette at 18 and has been a part of the show ever since. This episode we talk about her difficult decision to leave college and pursue her career. We also share some of our traveling stories and talk about her time at the festival, Burning Man.

Today's guest is John Selya. John grew up in NYC and trained in the School of American Ballet before joining the American Ballet Theatre. We talk about John's love for surfing, and he tells a great story about his time working with one of my heroes, Mikhail Baryshnikov. For this TBT episode, we look back at one of 'Half Hour Call's' first episodes with the talented Melanie Moore. She is currently one of the sisters in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, which runs through December 31st on Broadway. This episode was a blast! We talk about her time in the show FINDING NEVERLAND, and her experience on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. We also dive into her role as Chava in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and much, much more!

Writers in Performance is a 12-week writing and performance workshop hosted by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, culminating in two public presentations.  Throughout the course of the workshop, talented actors, playwrights, poets and storytellers have explored writing exercises, theater games, improvisation, movement techniques, and ensemble work in a safe, creative environment. This season, the theme and title of the Writers in Performance show is 'Home.' Writers in Performance participants are diverse by design; not only in ethnicity, but by age, and experience as well, mixing professionals with students.  On Friday, December 2 & Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 7:30PM, the troupe will showcase the monologues and short scenes they have been crafting.  We are proud to have members of the BMCC student community in the production (denoted below).
