When Jenna unexpectedly becomes pregnant, she begins an affair with her gynecologist, Dr. Jim Pomatter. Looking for ways out, she sees a pie contest and its grand prize as her chance.

Broadway Sacramento announced the 2018 - 19 Broadway On Tour season at the Community Center Theater, sponsored by Wells Fargo, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series and three that are favorites of Broadway Sacramento audiences. The production opens February 9, with previews beginning February 3 and performances running through March 10 in the Ellyn Bye Studio. Kodachrome was developed at The Armory's JAW: A Playwrights Festival in 2015 under the title Colchester and will be the company's 26th world premiere production.

In Toho Stage's return engagement of Dogfight patrons may recognize several company members. All but three actors were part of the Japanese premiere in 2015 at Theater Crea in Chiyoda. Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film written by Bob Comfort, the musical stays faithful to the screenplay. This current revival in three cities- Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya­- features the all-Japanese cast in a distinctly American story set in the backdrop of the Vietnam War.
