Broadway at the Marcus Center Announces Milwaukee Premiere of SOMETHING ROTTEN!, COME FROM AWAY, and ANASTASIA

Associated Bank Broadway at the Marcus Center and Broadway Across America-Milwaukee invite you to experience the sounds and splendor of Broadway at the Marcus Center throughout 2018-2019. Coming next season to Milwaukee is the brand-new original comedy smash SOMETHING ROTTEN!, "Broadway's big fat hit" (New York Post), the magical production of Dr. Seuss' classic holiday tale, Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL, the fresh, new production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, based on the 2015 Tony Award-winning Lincoln Center Theater production, the Broadway musical based on the true story of a small town, COME FROM AWAY, and the new musical based on the beloved films and romantic story of ANASTASIA. The spectacular new production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will make a triumphant return to Milwaukee for a two- week engagement and back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON will return for a limited one - week engagement.

Becoming a Season Ticket Holder is the only way for individuals to guarantee the best seats at the season's hottest shows. In addition, Season Ticket Holders enjoy the benefits of Broadway Across America, a national network of over 40 cities where touring Broadway is presented. Benefits include:

Current subscribers can renew their packages for a six and seven show package subscription and add THE BOOK OF MORMON.

New subscription package includes a seven-show option and both renewal and new packages go on sale Monday, February 26 at 8:30 pm to Associated Bank Broadway at the Marcus Center Season Ticket Holders and the general public. Prices for renewal for the six - show package range from $669-$159 and vary depending upon performance time and seating preference.

Prices for the seven-show package, which includes THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, range from $789-$204 and vary depending upon performance time and seating preference. THE BOOK OF MORMON can be added to either package for an additional cost.

October 16-21, 2018

SOMETHING ROTTEN! is "Broadway's big, fat hit!" (New York Post). Set in 1595, this hilarious smash tells the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom, two brothers who are desperate to write a hit play. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world's very first MUSICAL! With its heart on its ruffled sleeve and sequins in its soul, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is "The Producers + Spamalot + The Book of Mormon. Squared!" (New York Magazine).

Dr. Seuss' How The?Grinch?Stole Christmas! The Musical?is the record-setting Broadway holiday sensation which features the hit songs "You're A Mean One Mr.?Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated special. Critics are raving that this breathtaking production is "bigger and better than ever before" and features a brilliant new scenic design by Paul Brown, Tony Award-winning original costume design by Maria Björnson, lighting design by Tony Award-winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler, and new staging by director Laurence Connor. Inspired by the beloved films, the romantic and adventure-filled new musical ANASTASIA is on a journey to Milwaukee at last!

>From the Tony Award-winning creators of the Broadway classic Ragtime, this dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.

ANASTASIA features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally, a lush new score by Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) with direction by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak.
