Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of the award-winning musical, Mame, at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre, 114 West Broad Street on Friday, November 21 with a preview tonight, November 20. The show runs through January 11, 2014.

This November, The Square Foot Theatre Company will present RENT, the beloved work of Jonathan Larson. This will be this Connecticut based non-equity, non-profit community theatre's 36th production in 7 years. They are thrilled to begin their 2014-2015 season with this ground breaking musical. This production will be guest directed by The Broadway Boys member, Mike Backes. This production will not be one to miss.

The new musical comedy DISENCHANTED! will make its New York premiere in a limited 9-week engagement at Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th St. at 9th Avenue) beginning previews on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Fox Valley Repertory concludes their 2014 theater series with Rick Lewis' holiday music revue, Christmas on Broadway. Producers Howard Panter and John Frost today announced that beloved theatre and television performer Bert Newton would play the Narrator in the Sydney season of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Newton is currently starring as Vince Fontaine in the national tour of John Frost's production of Grease, and has also performed on stage in Wicked, The Producers, Annie, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz.
