Fox Valley Rep to Present CHRISTMAS ON BROADWAY, 11/13-12/31

Fox Valley Repertory concludes their 2014 theater series with Rick Lewis' holiday music revue, Christmas on Broadway. Directed by Kyle Donahue and music directed by Ilana Atkins, performances will take place on the Pheasant Run Resort Mainstage November 13 - December 31, 2014.(4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; box office 630-584-6342).

Christmas on Broadway will preview Thursday, November 13 through Friday, November 21, 2014. The show will open Saturday evening, November 22, 2014 and continue through Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Tickets are priced at $32 on weekdays and at $42 on Saturdays and Sundays. Dinner packages, group discounts and overnight rates are also available.

Written and Arranged by Rick Lewis, four star-struck holiday tourists are snowbound in a shuttered Broadway theater on Christmas Eve. With nothing but a few trunks filled with costumes, props, and set pieces, they live out a shared dream - starring on Broadway! From your favorite holiday classics like "Baby, It's Cold Outside," and "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," to seasonal classics from Broadway composers, the evening is a flurry of memorable holiday magic.

The cast of Christmas on Broadway features (in alphabetical order): Nancy Kolton of Batavia, Shari Mocheit, Ryan Naimy (previously in Fox Valley Rep's musical hit production of Forever Plaid in 2013), Buffalo Grove native Jake Stempel and Erica Stephan of Glen Ellyn. The Kids Chorus includes: Molly Babczak (Geneva), Nathan Castagna (Geneva), Keira Denker (St. Charles), Ivanna Kurywczak (South Elgin), Katie O'Brien (Geneva), Chloe Pendzinski (Aurora), Joey Prette (Winfield), Ella Schuler (Plainfield), and Audrey Webb (North Aurora).

Director Kyle Donahue of Geneva has directed, choreographed and performed around the world on regional theatre, theme park, and cruise ship stages. Favorite directing and choreographing credits include The Secret Garden, 42nd Street, Legally Blonde, Dames at Sea, Annie, Grease, Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, and CATS. He has studied dance in NYC at Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance Center, and with Broadway veteran Billy Kersey Kupiak. He is an accomplished actor, dancer, vocal teacher and coach, and teaches dance at several private studios. He serves as the Performing Arts Manager at the Fox Valley Park District and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Rockford College.

Christmas on Broadway runs Thursday, November 13, 2014 through Sunday, December 28, 2014 with a special New Year's Eve performance on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. General show times are: Fridays & Saturdays @ 8pm, and Sundays @ 2pm with added matinee performances.
