"'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse." One of the most iconic opening lines in any piece of writing in history, and the basis for the Children's Theatre's 2014 Christmas presentation. Beginning November 22nd, The Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway will be reviving its original production of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, which first appeared at the theatre during the 2010 Season.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas is a staple of the holiday season. In Way Off Broadway's stage adaptation of the classic Christmas poem, a little boy named Charlie learns all about the magic of Christmas from none other than Santa Claus himself.

Though based on the poem, Way Off Broadway does add its own creative flare to the production in the form of a giant singing gingerbread cookie, dancing toys, and a little boy who decides to stay up to meet Santa Claus.

Appearing in Way Off Broadway's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas are Jessica Billones, Sarah Biggs, Matt Rothenberg, Jordan B. Stocksdale, and a special appearance by Kris Kringle.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas was adapted for the stage by Bill Kiska, Way Off Broadway's Executive Producer, and is directed and staged by the theatre's Creative Director, Jordan B. Stocksdale.

The show runs from November 22 - December 27, 2014, with performances every Saturday afternoon and the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Tickets are $17 per person for lunch and the show.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas is the final production of the 2014 Children's Theatre Season. The 2015 Season will include The Berenstain Bears On Stage, The Wizard of Oz, Disney's The Jungle Book, and The Great Elf Adventure.

The Children's Theatre is part of The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, a leader in the region's performing arts community since it first opened in 1995.
