Casting has been announced for the Boston engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, which will play Boston's Colonial Theatre December 16 - January 30.

According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for Uk Daily Mail, tenor opera singer Jonathan Ansell is being considered for the West End production of Jersey Boys. Ryan Molloy, who plays Frankie Valli in the show, will continue through 2011, however Stephen Ashfield will give his last performance this spring. Lee Mead and Ray Quinn are rumored to be joining the show as well.

Reps for LOVE NEVER DIES have confirmed to the New York Times this morning that indeed the production will not open on Broadway as planned in the Spring of 2011. Adrian Bryan-Brown of the Boneau Bryan Brown agency wrote in an e-mail to the Times: '‘Love Never Dies' will not be opening on Broadway this Spring...Further news about the show will be announced shortly.'

In support of his first soon-to-be released solo CD The Vegas Sessions, Bergen will be debuting his new club act at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, September 15. On top of that, he is currently in rehearsals for the new musical VENICE, which is set to open October 7 at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.
