Shawn Wright recently wrapped two years in Toronto's JERSEY BOYS and is currently in London Ontario celebrating the genius of Stephen Sondheim in SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM on stage until Nov 6th 2010 at The Grand. Ryan Molloy, who plays Frankie Valli in the show, will continue through 2011, however Stephen Ashfield will give his last performance this spring. Lee Mead and Ray Quinn are rumored to be joining the show as well.

Reps for LOVE NEVER DIES have confirmed to the New York Times this morning that indeed the production will not open on Broadway as planned in the Spring of 2011. Adrian Bryan-Brown of the Boneau Bryan Brown agency wrote in an e-mail to the Times: '‘Love Never Dies' will not be opening on Broadway this Spring...Further news about the show will be announced shortly.'

In celebration of his first solo CD release, former Jersey Boys star Erich Bergen will debut his new club act at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 15 at 8pm, and following that performance, he will be appearing at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City as part of the cast of Venice from October 7 through November 14.

Former JERSEY BOYS star Erich Bergen is certainly one busy guy. In support of his first soon-to-be released solo CD The Vegas Sessions, Bergen will be debuting his new club act at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, September 15. On top of that, he is currently in rehearsals for the new musical VENICE, which is set to open October 7 at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. Recently, Bergen chatted with BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos about the new album, his days on JERSEY BOYS, New York vs. L.A. theater, and the whereabouts of his Gossip Girl ascot.
