Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.

Martha Plimpton will join Brian F. O'Byrne and Oliver Platt in the cast of Conor McPherson's Shining City, which begins Broadway previews on April 13th
Les Freres Corbusier, creators of last Spring's sold-out off-Broadway hit Boozy: The Life, Death, and Subsequent Vilification of Le Corbusier and, More Importantly, Robert Moses and the Obie Award-winning A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, will present Heddatron, written by Elizabeth Meriwether, directed by Alex Timbers, and produced by Aaron Lemon-Strauss.
The production will star Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton. Daniel Manche and Alex Rutherford will alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.

Producer Jeffrey Finn announced today that Academy Award-winning film and stage star Hayley Mills will join legendary star Richard Chamberlain to headline the upcoming National Tour of the beloved play ON GOLDEN POND. The 30-week tour of the two-time 2005 Tony Award-nominated production will launch September 5, 2006 in Fort Worth, Texas at Bass Performance Hall. A complete list of touring cities and venues will be announced in the coming weeks.
