Recently, the esteemed Gelsey Kirkland Ballet has become the headquarters for lesser known pieces from some of the greatest Russian choreographers of all time. Continuing this tradition, Gelsey Kirkland Ballet announced today the next program of its 2016/2017 season will be Russian Treasures featuring Marius Petipa's hilarious one-act comedy Cavalry Halt, as well as pieces by Leonid Yakobson, Leonid Lavrovsky, and Kasyan Goleizovsky.
Deafinitely Theatre Adds Extra Date to Tour of SOMETHING ELSE

Deafinitely Theatre today announces an extra date for its adaptation of Kathryn Cave's much loved children's book Something Else. The production will now show at Pegasus Oxford on 2 June, in addition to the previously announced Claremont High School Academy in Brent (school performance), Derby Theatre, a fundraising gala at Wyndham's Theatre (invite only) and the actacentre in Bristol.

The Public Theater announced today that three final performances have been added to the critically acclaimed New York premiere of Latin History for Morons, created and performed by John Leguizamo. Directed by Tony Taccone, this fiercely funny, satirical one-man show was inspired by Leguizamo's observation that Latinos are essentially invisible in the standard American history curriculum.
