A BRONX TALE, the streetwise Broadway musical based on the one-man show and now classic film, will make its Washington, D.C. premiere at the National Theatre for one week only from March 26 through 31, 2019.

The Marsh San Francisco announces the return of its 2017 hit, The Mushroom Cure by Adam Strauss. Inspired by a scientific study that hallucinogenic mushrooms may cure obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Strauss embarked on a program of vigilante psychopharmacology. The true tale of Strauss' hilarious, harrowing, and heartrending attempts to treat his debilitating OCD with psychedelics was an Off-Broadway hit, where it was named Critics' Pick by Time Out New York and hailed by The New York Times as "mining a great deal of laughter from disabling pain" before moving to San Francisco for an extended run. The Mushroom Cure will be presented March 16 - 30, 2019 with performances 8:30pm Saturdays and 5:30pm Sundays at The Marsh San Francisco, 1062 Valencia St., San Francisco. Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) has added three performances to its highly anticipated upcoming production of Birdy, adapted by Naomi Wallace from the novel by William Wharton, and directed by Steven Maler. The production now runs February 27 through March 17 at the Carling-Sorenson Theater at Babson College in Wellesley.

No doubt about it, A Bronx Tale - the musical version of Chazz Palminteri's original 1989 one man show (he played some 18 characters in the original work) that ultimately led to a 1993 film directed by Robert DeNiro - is one engaging night of theater, telling an intriguing story of a boy who grows to manhood on the mean streets of The Bronx, in the shadow of local wiseguy/mob kingpin Sonny, played here by Joe Barbara with chilling authenticity and palpable, if oily, charm.

A BRONX TALE is a musical adapted from a film that was once a one man show written by Chazz Palminteri. The Broadway Smash premiered with previews on November 3, 2016, and officially opened December 1, 2016 at the Longacre Theatre. Launching its North American Tour in the Fall of 2018 the musical features music written by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Glenn Slater and book written by the original one man show stopper Chazz Palminteri. Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce that individual tickets for A BRONX TALE will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, January 9. A BRONX TALE will play Broadway In Chicago's Nederlander Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited two-week engagement March 12 24, 2019.

Beginning today, A BRONX TALE will offer a limited number of $32 tickets via a digital lottery for select performances at the Longacre Theatre(220 West 48th Street).

The hit Broadway musical A Bronx Tale will perform trackside at Belmont Stakes Day on Saturday, June 9 as part of the 2018 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.
