ArtsBridge Foundation, producer of the 10th Anniversary of the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards - announces this year's winners. Presented by the Georgia Lottery, the awards ceremony was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 19 and televised live by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB).  Awards highlights include: Overall Production: Milton High School, Cabaret; Direction: Kirk Grizzle, South Forsyth High School, The Hunchback of Notre Dame; Best Performance by a Leading Actress: Parker Jennings as Eliza Doolittle, Greater Atlanta Christian School, My Fair Lady and Best Performance by a Leading Actor: Laughton Berry as Pippin, Tri-Cities High School, Pippin.

This week ArtsBridge announced the nominees for the 10th Anniversary Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards. 38 public and private schools from throughout the state were nominated in 17 categories. The awards show is the culmination of a year-long professional development program and will showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theatre talent. Presented by the Georgia Lottery, the awards show will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) over its nine-station statewide television network live from Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 19, 2018 from 7-9 pm.

Shakespeare Theatre Company today announces the cast of Lerner and Loewe's multiple Tony Award-winning musical Camelot. Tony, Grammy and Emmy winning star Audra McDonald returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts for an up close and personal concert on Friday, May 11, 2018 in the Rene?e and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Accompanied by her trio, McDonald will bring her vivacious personality and artistry to hit show tunes, classic film songs and selections written expressly for her by many of today's leading composers. Gurney's howlingly funny canine comedy SYLVIA, a love story about empty nesters Greg and Kate, and an irrepressible mutt named Sylvia.
