What's the Use of Wondrin? Meet the Broadway-Bound Cast of CAROUSEL

It was recently announced that Carousel will begin performances at the Imperial Theatre next spring, starring Betsy Wolfe as Carrie Pipperidge, Alexander Gemignani as Enoch Snow, and Margaret Colin as Mrs. Mullin. This is in addition to the previous casting announcement that includes  Joshua Henry as Billy Bigelow, Jessie Mueller as Julie Jordan, Renee Fleming as Nettie Fowler, Amar Ramasar as Jigger, and Brittany Pollock as Louise. Ken Ludwig's ROBIN HOOD! Extends Again at The Old Globe

The Old Globe today announced that due to popular demand, the exciting Globe-commissioned world premiere comedy Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood! has now extended again, through September 10! This is the second and final extension for the hit show, which previously announced a one-week addition through September 3. Lumberyard Announces $5 Million Loan from Social Financier

Lumberyard Contemporary Performing Arts in New York City and RSF Social Finance have closed on a $5 million loan to construct a state-of-the-art facility near the Hudson River waterfront in Catskill, New York. The financing represents a meaningful step forward in Lumberyard's efforts to economically and culturally revitalize the region where its new campus will open in the spring of 2019. The location will also serve artists by providing them with technical support and residencies before a national or New York premiere. (more...)

Bob Garfield's RUGGEDLY JEWISH Makes World Premiere at Philadelphia Theatre Company

Philadelphia Theatre Company kicks off its 2017-2018 festival-style theatre season with the world premiere of Ruggedly Jewish: An Evening With Bob Garfield. Garfield's crazy-quilt, hilarious odyssey is a search for self: the American self, the suddenly-emerging threatened self, and his own baffled self - a secular Jew. The Lower Merion native, and the co-host of public radio's On The Media, returns to his roots by launching his one-man show right here. The show is three performances only, on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 8:00pm, and Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3:00pm and 8:00pm. All performances are held at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S.
