The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and the rediscovery of musical gems from the past, as part of its acclaimed NEO Reading Series, an ever-growing, one-of-a-kind program dedicated to helping and propelling new, emerging, and outstanding musical theatre writers, in association with Penn State Musical Theatre, will present a staged reading of the new musical Tyrants, with music and lyrics by 2017-2018 NEO writer Alexander Sage Oyen and book by S.P. Monahan (Diva: Live From Hell) for ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Loved by children and adults around the world for generations, the classic tale by Antoine de Saint-Exupery will be given a fresh and witty new adaptation using Luca Silvestrini's distinctive blend of dance, humour, words and music. Audiences will be invited to join the Little Prince as he journeys through a weird and wonderful universe, meeting fascinating characters along the way whilst learning about the value of friendship and love.

Final casting for Berkeley Repertory Theatre's upcoming production of Fairview was announced today. Written by Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed bySarah Benson, with choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, the world premiere production comes straight to Berkeley Rep from a critically acclaimed New York run. Previews begin on Thursday, October 4 with regular run of the show opening on Thursday, October 11 and continuing through Sunday, November 4. Rooftop Films is proud to announce our feature film slate for the 2018 Rooftop Films Summer Series, presented by SundanceTV. This year's series will take place May 19th to August 25th featuring more than 45 outdoor screenings in more than a dozen spectacular outdoor venues, with live music, filmmaker appearances, and special enhanced screenings of the best, new, independent films from around the world. Florida Repertory Theatre's 20th anniversary season continues with Alfred Uhry's hit comedy, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Best Play. Florida Rep first produced the romantic comedy in the fall of 1999 as part of its second season.

Due to an overwhelming demand, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical of Ain't Too Proud-The Life and Times of The Temptations will extend for two additional weeks. Originally scheduled to close on October 8, the popular musical will now run through Sunday, October 22.
