Capital Stage to Present SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO, 2/6-21

Capital Stage continues its commitment to training the next generation of professional artists with the presentation of SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO, by David Mamet. The Third Annual Apprentice Showcase features the work of the 2014-2015 Capital Stage Apprentice Corps, and all aspects of the production-acting, directing, design, and administration-will be done by the Apprentices. Performances of SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO will run from February 6-21, 2015 and will perform immediately following select performances of IDEATION by Aaron Loeb at Capital Stage.

Pixilated Plays announce the UK premiere of Richard Molloy's The Separation, set in the build-up to Ireland's historic divorce referendum of 1995. Following a run at Dublin's Project Arts Centre in June 2014, the play will move to Theatre503 from 27 January until 21 February 2015, with a press night on 30 January. Simon Evans directs a cast including Carrie Crowley, Roxanna Nic Liam, Owen McDonnell and Susan Stanley.

Dakota Blue Richards to Lead ARCADIA UK Tour; Full Cast Announced!

English Touring Theatre and Theatre Royal Brighton Productions today announced casting for a new touring production of Tom Stoppard's comedy masterpiece, Arcadia, which will be the first major national tour since 1993, and over 20 years since the play has been seen by audiences around the UK.

Pat Barker's Booker-nominated novel, REGENERATION, has been adapted for the stage by Olivier Award-winning playwright Nicholas Wright (His Dark Materials, Vincent in Brixton), it opened at Royal & Derngate, Northampton on 29 August 2014 prior to a national tour. The production plays Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from 4 - 8 November 2014.

English Touring Theatre & Theatre Royal Brighton Productions announced today its spring tour of Tom Stoppard's masterpiece, Arcadia, which will open at the Theatre Royal Brighton on 30 January 2015 before touring the UK. The production will be directed by Blanche McIntyre. Full tour dates and casting to be announced.

The American-Scandinavian Foundation is pleased to present Kathryn Roszak's San Francisco-based Danse Lumiere in the New York premiere of 'Secrets on the Way,' a dance noir inspired by the poetry of Swedish poet Tomas Transtromer, winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize, Monday April 7th at 8 PM at New York's Scandinavia House, 58 Park Avenue (between 37th & 38th Streets). A fusion of dance, theater and poetry, 'Secrets on the Way' was created and choreographed by Kathryn Roszak for six dancers and a narrator. Actor Earll Kingston will read several Transtromer poems in English translations by Robert Bly and May Swenson.
